The Competence Center Data & Analytics focusses on solving complex business problems using Generative AI and Machine Learning. Your ambition is to use (Generative) AI to optimize our business across the insurance value chain. Current projects are Call Center Automation, Underwriting Knowledge Assistants, Complex Claims Handling and many more.
You will shape our solution(s) for automating the email channel in various lines of business at AXA CH in the role of a Senior Engineer. As a Senior Engineer, you will not only implement specific use cases but also work across teams with peers to shape and ensure standards.

- Developing the GenAI Mail Automation Solutions using state of the art software engineering methods
- You have a can-do mindset with a great curiosity for new concepts and ideas
- Setting developer standards and provide stable operations incl. standards, security and regulatory compliance
- Analyze technical trends in the field and drive innovation and make sure the application is eventually running smoothly
- Participate or lead knowledge exchanges within the local AXA (Gen)AI Community
- Effective communication with different stakeholders to drive user adoption
- You have experience in understanding a business challenge, designing solution approaches, and transforming them into tangible, measurable value together with a team
- Experience in the principles of GenAI (e.g. RAG, CoT, Agents) and GenAI Frameworks (e.g. Langchain/Langsmith, Vector Stores)
- 2-3 years of experience in DevOps (Git Flow)
- Proficiency in Python & working with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Collaborative, creative, product and user focused
- Passionate about generating business value and drive the user adoption
- Master or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Machine Learning or Math
- You speak fluent German and English
Around 600 software and system developers work for AXA in Switzerland and are developing tomorrow's technology inhouse. To do this, we are also working in global teams and networks. Our agile product teams organize themselves and work independently where they are responsible for everything from A to Z. Our tasks include programming, integrating the latest tools and arranging hackathons.
